Anyone know much about this one? Seen it on other website before.

its been around for a while and certainly been and gone on ebay a few times.

i far as i know the 333bhp version of the 6.0 V12 was only placed in the XJRS. the seller used to claim it is this engine thats in there, but has no proof. but i see there is no mention of it this time around, so i guess thats conclusive?

the engine top JS badges could easily have been added in the same way he has adorned "R" badges on the back end.
i dont think there is any documentation to proof what engine is in there (i think i asked him a while back).
however as we know with jag, and as Mr jenner has reminded us, there are many unusual oddball jags out there. if you knew the right people and had the money to pay, you could get what you wanted.

you may be able to verify the engine by getting the engine number off him?

8 previous owners is quite high for a 89,000 mile car?

Yes, it didn't sell last time either. That very rusty wing will put off most buyers.
Thing is, often when one area is vet bad like that, the sills and floor pans will look something similar!
You really would need to check it out thoroughly, before bidding, unless you can take on a weldathon!
Black manual is a rare car though!

Yea, you're probably right. But the combination of a black and manual is pretty interesting. Looks like it needs lots of work though.

On another note - I love how this guy has tried to obscure the license plate, but he hasn't done it in all the pictures.

they all have potential. guess you need to do a lot of legwork to check them out in person though.
the green xjr was on at £850 ish i think before? possible the more desirable car? but what an annoying advert! does he think anyone wants to read 20 different font sizes, and the most important info (ie what is wrong with he car) is in the tiniest font size
i'd go see the xjr if you can, but again, very thorough checklist. bad bodge to bypass the starting inhibitor switch though, as that could have been changed very cheaply and quite easily. what else has been badly bodged?

i know this car under another reg number, it was a JEC members car and quite nice in its day, lots of add ons though, sport badges on the engine, Black Country Jags were selling them for 60 quid a pair some time back, , mesh grille S£ wing badges etc

but under all the badges its a standard 318bhp XJ12, right? the previous time it was advertised it was claimed the engine was the XJRS version with 333BHP, but i guess that has not been substantiated
