Hi,

Is there a typo here? - Should it read David Marks Garages, rather than David Garages?

Another obvious parts contact is rob's garage clearance

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/robs-garage-clearance

Run by very active forum member xj12-rob. I don't think I am alone in having bought from him!! :D

Though it is not strictly a supplier of parts, but one of service, I see you recommend the body shop S Croft on Tweed Street Leigh viewtopic.php?f=26&t=20

Which I might try if we all live long enough... :D It could be a useful contact for XJ40 owners.

Most visiting the forum will know about it already, but JDHT is the contact for new parts from Jaguar Cars. The site is also very useful for checking parts numbers

i've been off buying some bits for my Manual 3.2 today at this place.
i doubt they would do mail order, and they dont answer emails, as the guy runs a pub most of the time. so its old school scrap yard, bring your tools an whip the bits off yourself.
but they have around 10 40s in stock, amongst many other jag models. picked my way through some bits today. kid in a sweet shop style.
they are not the cheapest, but if you are in yorkshire and need some parts. maybe worth a visit.
CALL FIRST AS THE GUYS NOT THERE ALL THE TIME.
