They are called air portables. I don't think they are significantly lighter than regular ones. They are easier to strip down though.

..you pull the stalk back to flash momentarily when on sidelights but do the same to toggle between main / dipped when rotary switch is set to main lights iirc = user error (you have only got your sidelights on)? I remember being caught out by this one night after having driven other cars for too lo...

Where does it fit? IIRC it goes somewhere under the driver's knee bolster - but it was a long time ago... Why do I have no lights on that side of the console? (the lights on the trip computer of the original console did work, so wiring to plug is ok) Maybe trip module lamps are blown in in replacem...

Something that draws quite a bit of current judging by the gauge of those wires.
Looks rather home-made to me - why not peel off the tape and have a look?

I thought the power washers were simply operated from a pump in the washer reservoir.

Jaguar will supply a new key from the reg. number that will work if the door and boot locks are original.

Hard to figure why the PO mucked around like that.
