Re: couple of pics.........

A fine pair. I particularly like that XJRS kit on your V12 there, very nice indeed.

Re: 92 Black Cherry XJR Manual

Good to see the update on this one and hear about the publication exposure. Love the car but the thing that bugs me about it is the balancing weights on the outer faces on the wheels! I reckon it would looker a lot cleaner with them in the inside of the rims...

Re: 17" wheel options on a 1994 XJ12?

I think it's the XJS 15" rims that don't fit the Forty isn't it, and interfere with the calipers, because they have inboard rear brakes?

Heh, that's in Sandy, Bedfordshire. About 3 miles from where I currently live, lived there previously in fact.

Re: 92 Black Cherry XJR Manual

Oh that's quite the dilemma, I guess you try to rotate their useage so they all get at least a little jog out at some point?

Re: eBay motor bin.

She's now deceased. I keep the car going but I got to the point where I felt there were too many issues with it to persevere. At the time of letting it go I was getting divorced and sold my house, I had no spare time, money, space, garage or motivation to continue. As it was it ended up with circa 1...

Re: British Parts Components

I've previous bought suspension parts from them and they were fine, I didn't do a lot of miles on them though so can't really comment on longevity.

Re: eBay motor bin.

Well, I'm not saying I want to buy this particular car, I'm more just wondering what is anecdotally perceived to be the going rate for a servicable, tidy XJ40 in this day and age? I bought a 3.2 Sov with an MOT for £200 once, I guess we've moved on from there now. Yes Boyan's XJR would be my kind of...

Re: eBay motor bin.

Okay, so what's the going rate for an XJ40 in decent but not mint condition these days? I've been fortyless for several years now and prices seemed to have risen since last time I had a squint for them on ebay. I saw this one for example, seems tidy and presents quite nicely but it's not a great one...
