Hmm, just reading the Jag workshop manual it very clearly states do not re-use the 6 bolts that attach the bottom spring pan to the lower suspension arms, really? Now in lockdown so not going to be able get new bolts, so thinking at least refit for now and if must replace one at a time when I can g...

I think you have to press the boot release whilst pushing the latch back down with a screwdriver, simulating what happens when you open the boot.

I have 225/60/16 tyres on lattices on mine, but they rub on the inner wheel arch on full steering lock. So definitely stick with 55s if you can.
