Re: Elsa_My first Jag_1994 3.2s

So I replaced the suppressor, and as we thought it was a long shot  But the car hasn’t been touched since the jaguar workshop meet last year (I’ve been too disheartened to bother!) and she absolutely refused to fire up today. I replaced the suppressor and still nothing. But whilst I was messing...

I wonder if there is a way of testing it?

Re: DBC2000

Thanks all for your responses. That’s an interesting theory Naki. In my mind I thought a failure mode like this must exist. I could try running the car without it as suggested by Katar, but I’ve found one from Rimmer Bros. I’ll have a go at it at the weekend and see if that is having any bearing on ...

Am I right in thinking that the suppression function is the primary function of this part? Does it have a secondary function? Does anyone have any experience of what happens whe...

Re: 1994 Daimler Double Six

Will get cracking with my new years list though soon. Got some oil and coolant leaks to sort out, new fuel filter, steering bellows, powerflex roll bar bushes, power steering leak/filter, cooling fan switch and new belts/pulley to fit. always plenty to do of course. The weather has improved quite a...

I can’t do August 3rd as I’m away on holiday now.

I’ll be along to some others though.

Re: Elsa_My first Jag_1994 3.2s

So, classic season is coming and I don’t want to spend the whole season chasing a running problem (again!) I’ve been thinking the issue through on and off through the winter, and I have two items that have not been serviced or replaced whilst I’ve owned the car (10 years next month). One is the fuel...

That’s a good size camper, nice age too.

We squeeze a family of four into an air cooled VW T25 from 1981...

Not much space, nor power, but good fun!
