Re: X350

Indeed. Which ever Jaguar you own, it will always need some kind of work.
If you buy a 350, you will need access to a good fault code reader/ diagnostics. They are a big step up in electronics complexity. So you will need To be prepared for that.

Re: The Official XJ40.com 2019 Meet Thread!!!!

Oh go on then, It’s a huge trek from sunny Scotland, but the XJ40 Register will attend. Not sure what car I’ll be bringing, I’m not sure I’ll have FVC’s roof and boot painted yet and it’s agitating me, so that won’t be there unless complete, so may be the Majestic. It’s worth a huge trek to drink a...

Keep them all I say!
“Good investments”. They will never be this cheap again.
Speak to Rob Jenner about X350 too.
Or on the JEC forum they have a helpful X350 section. The moderator there Mike knows nearly everything about them.

Re: Self Levelling Suspension

You can easily look at the shocks to see if they have pipework coming off them too.
Most have been converted by now, but there’s a few still out there with working SLS.

Re: The Official XJ40.com 2019 Meet Thread!!!!

You are right Naki. I have attended the Breakfast meet before and, yes, it is generally all over by 1pm although the Museum is open all day, as is the Jaguar Collection. Usually, they have tours of the workshops too where the collection is maintained. As the Museum, hotel, Mill restaurant and Cars ...

Re: The Official XJ40.com 2019 Meet Thread!!!!

I would go with the Mill for a main evening meal and drink and just look to the Car & Caffeine place for a pleasant drive out with a noggin and natter. CT 8-) I would think theres easily scope to do both on the day? I would imagine a “Breakfast Club” meet suggests it’s only in the morning? Prob...

Re: My XJ40 for sale.

Yeah that might be the only option eventually.......I’d give it to someone who would like to do the car some justice because the money I’m asking is not life changing........but if I did the wife would have a fanny fit..........you know what they are like   Oh yes. They are hard wired f...
