...original parts to sell on and get some money back? More added to the original parts pile: I swapped the boat-sized steering wheel for one from Naki Towers: an OEM Momo wheel in the same colour as the car upholstery, Isis Blue. Turned out to be a straightforward job, thanks to the lack of airbags...

Water pump to engine block water rail.
Just a few inches of hose, well hidden behind the intake manifold and notorious for going ‘kaboom’ on you when you least expect it.

Re: Saint who?

evidently the front part of the pump is more than sufficient. I know, Norman... ;-) I've done two before, one on the Sovereign, one on the Insignia. It's a pretty straightforward job, scroll down on this page for a little write-up I did on the Sovereign pump swap: https://www.xj40.com/viewtopic.php...

Re: Saint who?

Re: Saint who?

does anyone know of an alternative source? I might have one for you, Norman. Bought for my stalled X300 project, never fitted. 'Found' it a couple of days ago and still new except for some impeller surface rust... Have fitted an identical one to my MY 94 XJ40 a while ago, so can confirm it fits you...

Good pointer!
They sell quite a few of GAZ/Eibach kits for XJSes and might be able to pull some strings...

Re: Rear bumper (side elements)

Hi Per,

Which part do you mean exactly?
Are you referring to the mounting components (parts 19-20-21 in the diagram) or the chromed top bumper blade (#1 in diagram)?
