Dave is a great bloke, and does quality work with these decals

he actually sent me a few prototypes for the airflow meters last year to see if they were ok , a few tweaks and got them to look fantastic

i would start with a general check of all fluids , and make sure they are correct level and not cross contaminated next would be to do a compression check on all cylinders this will give you a base line the V12 valves have been known to stick , just for elimination , the vacuum modulator on the auto...

i have the XJS , i even have the red ( mulberry ) interior,

but now i have to seriously consider changing my modified 3 speed auto for a manual :o :o :o ,

you don't know how right you are, the days of a machine shop in every town is long gone I'm afraid, for over 40 years or so now, it just dies out in the 1970's , i am in the process of organising my cylinder head to be refurbished, as the exhaust valve seals are bypassing, so i might as well get it ...

or take it back to where you had the tracking done as they should have centred the steering wheel before adjusting anything underneath to spec to start with,

+ or - 5mm is nothing , the tyre tread depth wear can be worse than that

i think your being a little to precise about this

think about it, when you get in the car, your own weight will make that side sit lower , the car is designed for this...
