Re: XJR headligths identification?

It would seem they are still available, if you're feeling lavish!

1582 Euros + shipping. I like them: they remind me of the E28 5 series and the headlights were their handsome feature!

Re: XJR headligths identification?

A interesting spot there. This exact car is mentioned somewhere else on this forum. Specifically regarding those headlamps. I have a vague recollection they may be from Arden? Though I could be wrong. Do some searching on here. Yes, they're Arden headlights. I remember that car being on the forum (...

Re: ITV, Spanish MOT tomorrow at 07:00 hrs

My old Sov passed its MOT today. The Tester was very complimentary about it, saying, "You've got to love an old Jag," and, "They don't make cars like this any more. It's beautiful."

Re: EAC3454 that dubiously parented hose.

I had the same problem with the water rail gasket on my car. When we removed the water rail, there was no gasketing (factory delete on later models) just silicone. They were re-introduced on the X300 ..... Larry I think we have talked about this before. My battery-in-boot car is an early one made i...

Re: Tyre choice - can’t decide

I have 225/60/16 tyres on lattices on mine, but they rub on the inner wheel arch on full steering lock. So definitely stick with 55s if you can. Agreed, no more rubbing for me after I fitted 55’s. Tyre size is nominal and varies between manufacturers and model of tyre. The only constant measurement...

Re: 94 Sovver - number plate lights

Strangely, I had an intermittently failing bulb in one of my reversing lights which lasted quite a while. It took me ages to find it, since the possibility never occurred to me. I didn't think it was possible to have an intermittently failing bulb, until I had one fail like that myself.

It is remarkable how many cars you have found. Where do you get the information from for the search?

Re: 94 Sovereign 4.0 Auto

It is at the front though of the J-Gate assembly rather than directly underneath it - You don't take the top plate off the J-Gate assembly to get to it, if you see what I mean. I'm not expressing myself well here! http://www.jag-lovers.org/snaps/snap_view.php3?zx=SdADyRIIiM%2F6D8gNAZuezwLJCgOM2Ps41E...
