I would set up TPS and butterfly gap while this it out, you won't have a better chance to do it later.

In an ideal scenario, gap should be set to 0.002" when closed, TPS should be as close to 5V(you'll need a multimeter) as possible when fully open with the foot down and around 0.6V when closed. You can check voltages with the TPS plugged in and key in position 2. Mind you, adjusting one thing, will change other settings but with the throttle cable ~25 years old, throttle will surely be massively out and it makes a huge difference if its set correctly as TPS impacts fueling.

I would love to but I'm working the 3rd and know I can't have the day off as I've tried already :( will try and come next time though.

Cleaned the air idle control unit as well while I was there. This was dirty but not excessive. :D
