Yes, I know it’s for sale.

"Things happen" maybe it's not "information" for this page .... I know when I made the decision to part with HHP it was borne out of a number of factors ...... ;)

Am just tying in the “Resto” thread to the sale really. As so many have come before this one. It was all too short. The story started. But it had very few chapters, but met another untimely End.

I just hope it managed to find a new owner who'll finish the restoration.

I was going to try and have a look when I get home from work.

Will keep an eye on the Simply Performance thread on Facebook.........

I've been in touch with Greg (the owner) about an unrelated matter. He usually has several projects on the go and he had to make space for an XJS that required less welding than the XJ12, so sadly he decided to move on the P38 and the XJ12.

Predictably it’s always the welding that kills them.
What’s the chances it will end up in bits?

It's a shame I know. As someone once remarked "you can't save them all" ...... I follow and contribute to a number of car Forums up and down the Internet. The one common thread (pardon the pun) is the eventual value of the restored car ..... Oh and the cost of the parts panels to reach the finishing post (pardon me, another poor pun too :o )

As has been said before, anything with the right skills and mindset can be done ... Man on the Moon remember :?: A rusty car should be a walk in the park ....
Sadly it can come "down" to calculations scribbled down on the back of envelopes (and time that once spent, cannot be re-taken again). Personally, give me an afternoon of bright warm sunshine with Mrs NMV at my side with a bottle of something stronger than rain water ... To spannering and welding ... ANYTIME ;)

Youthful exuberance and over confidence required!
Plus the lack of relationship, so enough time is available.
