I don't think you are very far from the truth, Don...

In metric language: probably around 10 cms of length reduced, plus AT LEAST 10kgs of weight saved; those bumper dampers were seriously heavy and the new rubber covers must be something like 1/3 lighter.

By now I must be getting close (gearbox, cats, starter, bumpers) to a whopping 100kgs of weight reduction. :shock:
Which means, by the way, that it is now 'only' as heavy as a 6-cylinder XJ40! :lol: :lol: :lol:
