Exciting update.
I did wonder how many of those typical, while we are here, type jobs would crop up?

The fancy-shmancy new starter arrived yesterday and has been dropped off at the workshop.
The workshop owner's Xmas hols start today, so I'll have to wait until the New Year for another progress report...

Will she be ready for Florian's meeting Pim or will the Peppermint be the chariot of choice this year?

Current No1 priority is the house renovation project, Carl.

Depending on how long the workshop takes for the conversion AND on whether there’s budget left for the repaint we might take the XJ-S for a change... ;)

OK, maybe a few more than two...

With some very chunky parts dismantled timing is ideal to upgrade more components than just the starter and gearbox. :ugeek:

A few more pieces of upgrade hardware are on their way from the UK to the Low Lands.
Pictures will follow as soon as the parcels(!) arrive!

It's basically been built by men in sheds, but my goodness...
That's one of the most impressive engines I've ever seen, or - even more addictive - heard!!! :o
