Fog lamps have a different beam pattern to spotlamps and are most effective when mounted low on the car. The police will also discern between the two and pull over drivers using fog lamps when it's not foggy.

Hi katar83.
My Valiant started life as a 225 slant six engine.
Very gutless and no good for drag racing.
I had a 440 cu in BB Dodge motor laying around and as the floor pan is the same as an A model dodge
I knew it could be done. Just as back up power I fitted a 150HP Nos package.
I fitted disc brakes to the front as drums are hopeless.
Every ball joint and steering joint was renewed.
I also shift kitted the trans and installed a 2400rpm stall converter.
A big 8and threequarter dodge diff fitted really easy. These are good for a 1000hp from standard.
The car made good time on the drag strip.
It did a 12.4 sec quarter at 112mph.
Its gone now as I only have eyes for MY JAGUARS
