I have used the shell super 90 LSD too, in mine.
Opie Oils have it on offer now and again too.
2 bottles (ie 2litres) is enough to fill it.

Thanks for answering my post.

so you tell me to use spirax if it is LSD dyff. But is doesn't say anywhere that this is oil for LSD's, look again:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shell-Spirax- ... 3a721bf985

The one that naki_k wrote seems to be for LSD's : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shell-Thermal ... 258364a057

but definitely not spirax....I am confused now.

Other thing is - I don't have jack to verify if I have LSD dyff, so what are the chances that I have one ? My car is Daimler 4.0 litre, automatic, 1991.

p.s. I think that basically oils for Non LSD are no good for LSD, but oils for LSD are good for both LSD and Non LSD, right or wrong ? So if I buy oil that naki_k used, I should be fine, even if I have Non LSD, right ?

yes, you will have one, unless it has been changed by a previous owner. An LSD was fitted as standard on Daimlers up to the end of 92MY. battery in boot daimlers 93/94 LSD was a cost option.

well spotted. i think this may explain the reason for the jaguar additive existing, that you mentioned earlier.

Has anyone tried to buy the "Shell Thermally Stable Super 90 GL-5" LSD oil recently? I can't seem to find it anywhere?!

Yes it seems to be either discontinued or out of stock in most places. The only one I could find is indeed the place that sells 12 bottles at a time but that seems a bit excessive. I've just booked an appointment with my local garage for Friday to have the diff oil changed instead.
