With the exception of the boot light not working which still has me scratching my head, all other electrics are fully functioning as they should including all interior lights. Bulb failure light is now out on the dash.
My attention will now turn to the underneath of the rear of the car and give it a good clean up and a lick of paint on the axel and any other parts that may need attention.

Regarding the frame, its really easy to remove it, as far as the big bushes come off their mount(mine did) and the bolt next to the bush itself that hold the vertical link to it also comes off(only one of mine came off easily).
To remove it, you undo three bolts that hold the brackets on each side(very easy), clean them up and treat all the rust on them and on the body and you should see whether the bush frees itself easy or not, then try undo the bolt that hold the vertical link. If it comes out on both sides, the only other thing that needs to come out are the 4 bolts that hold the frame to the diff(very easy to undo) and maybe 4 bolts at the front of the frame(also relatively easy).
Diff will stay in its place, you'll just have the frame out with the big bushes, each side will just drop by 20-30cm and will easily go back with a jack.
I did a similar quick clean and repaint of my a frame last year and its exactly as rusty as it was now, after just over 12 months, hence I got another frame that I'm planning to properly derust soon and then swap over the weekend
Bolt that I was talking about can be seen here:
Its the one next to the bush, you can also see one of the 4(?) bolts at the front of the frame that need to come out.
