It does look well, the blue piping really sets it off. Just need a pair of foglamps now. ;)

It looks an excellent car - you must be very pleased with it. I wish my bodywork was as good as this!

Am glad someone on here bought it. Besides the back bumper prang, it looks spot on.
Front fogs are a must on late cars, if you can find a non melted set!

I like the front foglights on late cars too, they seem to add a lower set of teeth. Shame they're slightly inclined to combust!
Still available from Jaguar, last time I looked.

Very nice clean looking example , i expect the fog lamps have melted and been blanked off but i'd fit new ones just for show , as David says they add another dimension , you don't really ever have to use them these days , now lets see the interior and the engine bay , the real test of how it's been treated ;)

Very nice! - I especially like that low mileage (mine is from March 94 with 103K on the clock).

Also great to see another one down here in Hampshire. I picked mine up from Lymington in the New Forest and she dwells with me just north of Alton.

On the subject of foglamps, I picked up a pair of what looked like a perfect set. No sign of any overheating. I cleaned them up lovely. Easy to dismantle, cleaned the reflectors and the inside of the glass. Within 1 hour (yes ONE HOUR) of turning them on with standard 55W H3 bulbs they BOTH melted and fell apart simultaneously  Maybe they'd never been turned on before

There is a fundamental design fault with the foglamps so if you do get a pair then be prepared for them only being for show or for turning on for no more than 30 minutes at a time.

They appear to be made of chocolate...

Ivor

and the underneath of the car!
its a good idea to remove the front sill end caps and mudflaps to clean and inspect the area of metal they conceal. its possible they can trap dirt and cause rust. so worth checking to be sure its ok

Thanks for the lovely feedback guys, I'm very proud indeed!

I will post some pictures of the interior, engine bay and underside of the car (if I can get a decent picture of it) in the next few days. Unfortunately, yesterday my 'photo session' was cut short by the people on the golf course who told me I wasn't allowed to park there :(
