My car has been in a classic car storage facility in Chichester over the winter, but now it's time to start driving again! To start the season I decided to have a full detailing session done, it's not quite finished yet but the detailer has sent me some pictures;

No starting issues this time? That’s good news for a start.

Are you coming to the Ace meet on Monday?

New Lattice wheels too? Very nice.

The detailer says it has been thoroughly washed and clay barred as well as an engine bay clean and interior valet. The only remaining job is a full machine polish to get rid of swirls etc.

No starting issues at all. The storage facility is heated and dehumidified in the winter which helps an lot. As part of the storage package I have with them they run the car weekly and sometimes drive it as other cars need to be moved around. They keep the battery on charge too.

Sorry, unfortunately I can't make the Ace meet this weekend but really hope to meet up with some of you again this year, it's been way too long!

I've had the lattice wheels for a long time, briefly had them on the Sov and also on the XJR for a bit. I put them back on recently and thought they'd need a refurb but they look pretty clean now, so will take a closer look when I see the car in the flesh again. The tires are brand new, so that's good.

Still toying with the idea of quads, but can't make up my mind. I like the look with quad lights and colour-coded grille inserts, especially with the lattice wheels, but then again, the fishtanks and chrome grille make it look more classic..... decisions, decisions.... :roll:

I had a colour coded grill on my car for the past year or so and just moved back to the chrome one. Tbh I forgot how the car looked with the chrome and at least for me I know now that it looks much better with the chrome ;)

Detailing is all done, a few more pics.

Sadly the MOT failed on some rust in the sills, this was an advisory last year so I kind of expected it. It's being fixed as we speak....
