Exactly. You'd think a demo would be registered immediately so it could be put into service. Well, after some time in the showroom perhaps looking all nice and new!
The fact the dealer knows nothing of the car, and they were kind enough to check all the way back to the Feb 1993 records for me - makes me think there was something very wrong with it, so it was sent back.
Or perhaps a customer decided they didn't want it, the dealer didn't want to pay the high price to keep it - so again sent it back to Browns Lane.
It's all very intriguing!
