Got the 2019 planner today for Classic Shows, these are the people that run Capesthorne and Bodellwydan shows amongst many others that we have visited for many years. I have reproduced the info letter in full here as there are two main points I wish to make known.
The JEC have invited further regions to Capesthorne Hall meaning there could be 200+ Jags there so it would be great if we put on a good attendance and really show the Jaguar world we are a force to be reckoned with
If we could get into a double figure attendance we would be happy bunnies, we have 7 already so not much to ask.
Bodellwydan is no more, shame as it was a great venue, but Bodrhyddan Hall later on in the year (28th July ) looks to be on course to be even bigger and better.
Whilst I appreciate we try to have a further interest at our meets ie planes, beer, museums etc, sometimes it is just some cars in a field, however these meets are the staple diet of what gets us out and about and meeting other forum members ( and their cars ) so as long as there are members willing to attend I will keep arranging them. I do though have a meeting on the back burner that involves guns, watch this space
and I have a further meet in the first stages of planning for next year.
I normally do a block booking for passes for these shows but as they can now be booked and paid for on line I would ask all attendees to do this. Any problems please contact me and I will sort it out.
So now we have two meets this year, one up North and one further South which hopefully will cover most bases and tempt the garage queens out into the sunshine. We look forward to seeing lots of you at Capesthorne, roll on the summer
