Hio Naki, I have pm ed Ant.

I noticed that there is this classic car event at nearby Bodiam the same day :

Is this of interest to Richard and Kingfisher ?

A bit late to register but I can enquire if they have spaces if you are interested.

This is a regular show that has got bigger and bigger over the years.

I think the year before last, I actually turned away - as the que for admission went all the way back to Staplecross!

It’s defintily an early or late entry required there.

I also noticed on the booking form that they won’t accept cars after 1993. Better be careful which 40 to take then!

I should be ok to attend for a while, but will need to collect my wife from Robertsbridge station at some point in the afternoon. Time to be confirmed at the moment.

I could be up for Bodium. My 40 is a very very late 93 (31st December 93 according to records) :o
Let me know if there are spaces still. Im really not keen on queueing up for a long time though.
Im happy for either the Breakfast or Bodium

I've had a reply and its yes they do have spaces and are happy to have 93 model year cars on display. I did say that we may have 3 additional cars and that isnt a problem. They have a jag section in the display which we can join. It looks like there is a lot going on so may be more of interest to any other family and friends that come along.

We have to complete and return the registration form on the website with the £4 entry fee and a stamped addressed envelope.

I'm quite keen to attend as its on my doorstep and I'd like to meet other jag/classic car owners in the area. Apologies that its a change of plan from the original 1066 brunch but I hope Richard and Kingfisher can still attend.

I'll be taking the XJ12 which is just back from a 400 mile trip to the north and back so a good excuse for a polish !

Ok, good to know there are still places available at the show. Seeing as the new Daimler is a 94 car, but 93 model year - I guess it should be ok? I’m just considering bringing the new addition along with the Jaguar - if it’s running by then of course!

If there is a Jaguar display, did they say what time we would have to be there by in order to join it?

Still, it’s a hard choice between this and a mega breakfast!

Let us know your thoughts Kingfisher.

I think a day out at Bodium sounds like a great way to soend fathers day.
I am sure that my boys and the mrs would also be up for coming.
It is a hard choice between the breakfast and the car show. There is a very good pub opposite Bodium castle if hungry (or thirsty) however.
Is there a deadlind for entry?

It does sound like a good day out and it is in a great location opposite the castle. The 1066 cafe isn't going anywhere so we could do the brunch another day if people are up for it.

I've heard back from the organisers that they like entrants to be there before 10:00 am as the traffic around Bodiam builds up after that. They will send more details once they have received the entry form, which I will send today !
