I don't think Dunkeld would work for the Summer meet as the only person who its convenient for on here is me, everyone else would have a massive trek. On the same token, it would be good for something central, I don't mind driving, done it a number of times for the forum meets as I live north of the border, but as good as Brooklands looks, I've driven down that way for work meetings at least 15 times last year and its a good 9-14 hour drive depending on the traffic/accidents? Something like Brooklands/Cosford where there are things at the location, other than a field, would be good as it would give us something to do in case the weather takes a turn. I've already been in touch with Naki over text about the meeting, and I am happy to join the alcoholics on here the night before at a hotel and indulge in a number of...….lemonades.

Let’s see if anyone else does though too. The last two years there has only been three of us! Which is a real shame. Everyone’s missing out on our drunken banter. Or is that why they are all staying away?

Carl will be up for some beverages I’m sure. I’ve not been to one of your beer nights, for the past 5/6 years I’ve always just did the day events. You might be lucky, I might do some of my famous dance moves after a couple of “lemonades”, which should take the edge off the innaporpriate chat. If that doesn’t sell an event, I don’t know what will?

Yes, you can lead a horse to water a pencil has to be lead, always. Narrowboats are a passion of ours (Mrs NMV too) ... Maybe a nice Canal side hostilary not too small ? I'd suggest a convoy arriving in arranged parking places with maybe Lunch, Dinner or Tea onboard .... Just my penarth. It's a get together, after all :?:

May I suggest Coventry? Or thereabouts?

Central location? Tick
Lots of suitable hostelries? Tick
Canals? Tick
Other stuff to do? Tick. (British Motor Museum, Coventry Transport Museum, even Jaguar Heritage)

What do you reckon?
