Since I use the same online pictures on different web sites, I use a single resource for my pictures: flickr.
The changes for embedded pics mean I'll have to break tradition and provide you with links to pictures below, rather than show you embedded pictures in this post...

For me, i mainly go for the social aspect of the meets.
Can't agree more!
It was a loooooooooong weekend for me, arriving at Birmingham airport at 7:30 in the morning.
I took my time to pick up my rental, have breakfast and then drove over to the Midland Air Museum for a bit of Vulcan tyre kicking.
https://flic.kr/p/2gQkpsyNext stop was Coventry's Transport Museum, another venue I wanted to visit last year but didn't have the time for.

https://flic.kr/p/2gQjtiqThose alloys are a straight fit on an XJ-S, so I was rather tempted to source a tool box and some bricks...
Friday evening quite a few of us met in the hotel, and thanks to Darren we had a BIG table for dinner.
Next morning we left for Gaydon, 8:45 from the hotel car park to be in front of the museum at 9:15 sharp!

For those interested: a boot lid DOES fit on an XJ40 rear seat...

https://flic.kr/p/2gQkjpTI'll spare you all the Gaydon museum pictures, except for this one, a bit of elite automotive alphabet soup...
They had a C, D and E Type in the museum workshop
https://flic.kr/p/2gQkj1GOur next stop for the day was Caffeine and Machine, a brief and pleasant drive from the museum.
Their love for everything petrolicious goes as far as their door handles!
https://flic.kr/p/2gQkiyuThe XJ40s joined a very eclectic group of other cars and bikes...

We visited twice(!) last year; our group of nine was not disappointed this year. The beginning of a tradition?
