Hi Derek,
why that?
Because you are not allowed to drive Vmax? :o

Of course it's better to have a few big events than many small ones.

Weston Park?? Next to Birmingham? This one: http://www.weston-park.com/ in TF11 8LE?
It sounds good!
Do you already know a date?

Than we could book the ferryboat to Hull again.
Hoping to have the Chasseur AND the doublesix ready to choose in case

greetings

Why ? , well i've travelled in Germany and apart from the fact there Autobahns i would say there is just more space , ok the major cities are congested the world over but in England we just have too many cars per square mile , all our motorways are at saturation point , there are constant roadworks and now we have average speed cameras almost every where , usually set at 50 mph , one small accident can stuff up the whole system

xj12-rob wrote:well chaps there is no Northern or Southern days next year within the JEC, just one big national event at Weston Park

there was a Midlands Day at Coventry airport in June

I too also understand thet JH have to be off site by September, but be aware the 120 cars quoted are not all available for veiwing, about 25/30 are on show at any one time, the rest are in secure storage, i now know where too, after many questions after the Browns Lane storage closed and was demolished

C'mon Rob , spill the beans , what's the reasoning behind the one big event ? , is it Weston park in Telford ?

As for the museum , what's happening to that ? , has it got something to do with Tata ? , where's it going to ?

So many questions :?

yep, Weston Park in Shropshire, one gid and JEC funded show due to costs and clashing with the Olympics, essentially in line with all the other major clubs, one National Day, but the JEC will have many many regional events around the UK as it always does, all reginally organised , some are supported , some are not

JH, I have no more info than what I have said, my guess is that the site will go for redevelopment as has the old factory site, the Museum does stick out like a sore thumb bounded by houses on one side and a derilict, until recentlly site, all around it on the other sides, although building work has now commeneced I understand

I would be up for a trip to coventry before they move. Maybe we could organise something if we get a few people interested?

i hope everyone who goes on sunday has a great day...
our house move has been deemed to be more important and it would be wrong and foolhardy of me to disagree ;)
