I completely agree.
Are the covers still available as well?
I didn't think about those but they would be a good idea.
This one is certainly a keeper.

Hi
Perhaps a stupid question, but will these headlamps be usable on a LHD car from Norway, or just RHD models from i.e. UK? Reason I ask is that the direction of the lights will not be the same between a LHD and RHD car. And I have no idea whether the direction of ligths are dependent of the headlamps themselves (LHD vs RHD) or if there are adjustments to be made on the infrastructure under the front of the hood.

I have already asked the supplier, but it the answer has not been shortly answered yet ;)

Thanks

Regards Erik

They are different parts: the beam pattern for the LHDs is different from the RHD items.
(I have LHDs in my RHD Insignia, which was a prerequisite for getting it registered in the Netherlands)

That's too bad, but cheers for confirming my suspicion.

You have to contact JCP to request the parts. The more people who do this, then the parts are more likely to be remade again.
They use those as their primary means of gauging demand! It’s not a guarantee, but it does help in the long run.

Hmm, i just went to put an order in through JCP, and i didn't realise that my local dealer was not on their "approved list" :?
Shame. and a loss for JCP i think.

"Classic Approved
Only 'Classic Approved' retailers will honour the exact prices shown on this web site. Other retailers may or may not implement an additional supplementary charge and you should consult them directly for the local price, prior to completion of your order."

i have also encountered further discount to the JCP online prices at some dealerships , as mentioned, call them first to confirm total costs involved , delivery to your dealer from JCP is usually free as well ,

I don't know when this happened, but i have only just noticed that JCP now also list/ supply parts for X350, X-type, S-Type.
Great news for many owners for sure. We all know the exploded parts views are a fantastic resource in itself, simply for referencing part numbers.

So, does that means these models are now "Classics"?
