This reminds me of something I discovered about 15 years ago. I had a Fiat 132 1800ES at the time. A model range produced to the tune of 650,000 cars over 12 years with barely half a dozen rhd cars in UK, now. Naturally enthusiastic to the car I collected all memorabilia ,including road tests. In the 1970s there was The Motor and Autocar magazines ,both weeklies in competition with one another. (Later they were under the same publishing house and amalgamated together).
Well , the 132 on the cover of Autocar was featured as road test car in The Motor, and the cover car on the Motor was the road test car in Autocar....???? I've heard when a new car is released, cars are often shared between motoring hacks at the time irrespective of what magazine they represent.
