Bonjour Xavier! I best not try to try my French
Glad to welcome you to the forum. You have a great car. It is nice to see photos of our 40s all over the world!
The W123 is also a great and very durable car. I have driven several but only diesels. My mechanic has one too and says they were made to last too long, same as the w124. Still they can't match the 40 as style and driving experience comes but they are very reliable and lasting. Quite a few diesels have been known for clocking a million or more km as taxis with the same engine.

Welcome to the forum. I regularly take my old R-S to France, I absolutely love driving on all the old back roads, very little traffic and lovely countryside.

Here it is at Domain De La Bretesche (Loire Atlantique) after a lovely run through the Loire valley. Sorry it's not a 40 everyone ;)

Hi
thank you for your words...
The Loire valley is also a beautiful region to stroll driving an "old R-S"
Enjoy your trips in France :P

I decided to change my 15'' wheels for 16'' (225/60/16 fitted)
It will be easier to find tires for the french technical control..
Perharps, there are not jaguar original, but they look nice..

You're right!! Thanks you for all your support and for your action
To answer to one previous mail, the colour of my XJ40 is Savoy grey and the seats are doeskin.

Aren't the X300ish? They remind me of some type of x300 wheel....
