Theres also one 4 miles away in Chester-le-Street. If you're up here viewing one, you may as well view the pair. Good luck.

The Gold has been mentioned on the eBay thread by Tony, full Daimler interior, X300 glovebox ?? but as it is a Gold no air con or cruise. I do not think the seller knows what he has, if I was selling it I would certainly mention the fact that it had a full Daimler interior.

They seem to think it’s a Jag so it must be worth a bomb.
It WILL need tyres, brake pipes, discs and pads ( they may have been new then but they are old now, bushes and more bushes, etc etc, plus a headlining.
Has it been stored outside ?? Check the footwells for damp, is the bulkhead sound ??
Buyer beware as they say.......

Here's someone selling panels at 2k (£££'s) ones even got damage  :?:

... and after all your excellent knowledgeable advice I didn’t buy the red one without an MOT but at least I had driven it so I put in a bid on one two days before Christmas on EBay and won.
It’s a 1994 3.2S Kingfisher Blue with 12 months MOT and picked it from a fella in Nottingham on Boxing Day on our way from Hereford to Market Rasen Races. Perhaps rather naively I didn’t even test drive it, I handed the chap £1200 and drove off! My 19 year old daughter was with me whilst my wife and other daughter continued on their way to the races. I must admit it wasn’t without quite a bit of trepidation that I made my journey following them. Absolutely faultless. I have almost zero knowledge of these cars but to me it was stunning. Smooth and quiet in every way.
I then drove 180 miles back to Herefordshire after the races relaxed and just loving it.
Last week I did a 600 mile round trip to Newcastle.Apart from the fact it cost £125 in fuel it’s just fantastic!
I’ve had it checked over by a Jaguar specialist and he says all is well. It’s had some welding done NS front but there is no rust anywhere. I’ve had a good look at the bulkhead, all clean.
Headlining will need doing and rear bumper mounts aren’t great, but that’s a relatively easy fix I guess. I’ll attach some pics when I get a moment. It’s registration is L591WAV and wondered if anyone here had previously owned it. I’ll keep you filled in and fingers crossed I might have just got lucky. Thankyou.

Congratulations on your purchase. As has been proven I think, it’s best to wait for the right car to come along, with an MOT, abd being prepared to travel has paid dividends I think.
Now the adventure really starts.

It looks pretty good really. I think you did very well at that price.
Besides technically having the wrong wheels (originally it will have been 16” 5 Spokes). Though that may not matter to some owners.

The sold listing is here.

seems you have got a good one there, and registered very close to my own car ( 1994 3.2S in Morocco red )which i have had 30 months now,

Naki is referring to the wheels my car has, as the 3.2S and 4.0s cars has these as standard and part of the 'S' package

enjoy your new car, as using them keeps them alive
