I suppose it's something to do with making the item for sale as appealing as possible ? I've learnt, (it's taken me a few years admittedly) to accentuate the positives and whilst the negatives exist when selling (a car for instance) don't point them out to an interested party (buyer). If the interested party should stumble across a negative offer a positive equitable solution. When I was in the process of selling HHP, somewhere along the line I was unfortunate enough to remove a quantity of top coat clear lacquer from the filler flap lid ................... (!*!"£$%** ...) I tried with a rattle can to re spray the lid. With each and every attempt, the overall effect became a nightmare in the middle of the afternoon ...... I eventually bit the "bullet", removed offending lid and presented it to the local body shop ... I may tentatively suggest that this vendor might want to consider doing the same (although, they'd have to include the whole car ....) ?
