Deeper pockets required......

I recall this one being discussed here some time ago. There were more pictures available at that time, and the car was far from condition you'd expect from such asking price.

My god that is a beauty! I love my late cars, but a real early motor is a lovely thing to see. I have an f plate waiting in the wings for once I've got L3 sorted.

Love the wheels and the stance, oh and the colour and the engine and....

There’s no limits now to what a dealer will ask for these.
A lot of early models have had digital dashes replaced though. I wonder if he has paperwork all the way back to verify the mileage?
I have had one with 17,000 “on the clock”.

TBH this is a different car, albeit VERY similar to the one previously. I seem to recall that other one had a "cell phone" aerial, Fish tank headlights and approximately another 30k miles under its wheels. Same colour (and two tone, over the rear end). This previous car has also been re advertised recently, on the Jaguar Enthusiasts Classified ... ;)

Glad it wasnt just me that noticed the paint on that one, scary to think that was signed off by somebody for no doubt top dollar jaguar repaint money.

I know, its nothing short of "shoddy" that kind of "approach". What worries me is, if that's what you can see, (repaired) whats the rest like, you can't see :?:

No, I'd say the interior is spot on and original (looks a million dollars). I do suspect however, that the vendor has altered their image selection and now shows the offside of the vehicle in shadow ... Possibly to disguise (divert awareness from) the previously discussed issue .................... ;)

I suppose it's something to do with making the item for sale as appealing as possible ? I've learnt, (it's taken me a few years admittedly) to accentuate the positives and whilst the negatives exist when selling (a car for instance) don't point them out to an interested party (buyer). If the interested party should stumble across a negative offer a positive equitable solution. When I was in the process of selling HHP, somewhere along the line I was unfortunate enough to remove a quantity of top coat clear lacquer from the filler flap lid ................... (!*!"£$%** ...) I tried with a rattle can to re spray the lid. With each and every attempt, the overall effect became a nightmare in the middle of the afternoon ...... I eventually bit the "bullet", removed offending lid and presented it to the local body shop ... I may tentatively suggest that this vendor might want to consider doing the same (although, they'd have to include the whole car ....) ? ;)
